The Barbados

BARBADOS

Island in the sun.

Barbados is the most easterly of the Caribbean islands. Cooled by the trade winds, its climate is always warm and pleasant without ever being oppressive. The average daytime temperature ranges between 27°C - 30°C (80°F to 87°F). Just 21 miles long and 14 miles wide, the island has a population of 266,800. Its capital city is Bridgetown and its currency the Barbados dollar.  Politically stable, democratic, prosperous, creative and naturally beautiful, Barbados is a jewel in the Caribbean just waiting to be explored.
